What it felt like, captured

I’m a couples and family photographer based in Essex, also working across London.

For me, photography has always been about more than just images — it’s about holding onto moments that would otherwise pass by. The quiet, in-between ones. The laughter, the connection, the feeling of being completely present.

My approach is simple and natural. I won’t ask you to pose in a way that doesn’t feel like you. Instead, I guide gently and let things unfold, capturing you as you are.

The result is a collection of images that feel honest, soft, and timeless — something you can come back to, again and again.

PHOTOGRAPHS that bring you back — to how it felt, not just how it looked.

I’m Brigi, a wedding, portraits and family photographer based between Essex and London.

I first picked up a camera during university, just as a hobby — something instinctive that quickly became a way of seeing. By 2016, it had grown into something more, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings, couples, and families in a way that feels honest to them.

What I care about most is people — their connection, their energy, the moments in between. I don’t believe in rigid posing or over-directing. Instead, I guide gently, creating space for things to unfold naturally. Most of the time, people tell me they forget the camera is even there — and somewhere along the way, we usually end up laughing and becoming friends.

I’m deeply drawn to the softness of film — the grain, the imperfection, the way it holds feeling rather than just detail. That influence runs through everything I create.

Photography, to me, has always been more than just images. Growing up, I could spend hours going through old photo albums at home — boxes filled with photographs from before I was even born. They felt like treasure. Even now, some of the most meaningful images I have are the ones I took of my grandparents while they were still here, or of my little sister and younger family members as they grew up.

That’s what I want to give to others.

Not just photographs, but something you can return to years from now — a time capsule of real moments, real laughter, real love. The kind that brings you right back, and fills your heart in a way nothing else quite can.

Get in touch — I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
